REBORN
Amanda's up to her old tricks, living the high life through her "night job" as a thief. Nick and partner Claudia have long been on her trail, but things take a nasty turn when Amanda gets framed for the murder of her fence, leading to tragic consequences and the end of Nick's police career.

Many of the sequences for this episode, including the "bath tub" scene, were filmed in the early hours of the morning.

The Canadian episodes were filmed in Toronto - previously, Highlander had been shot in Vancouver.

Verdict
A largely uninspiring start to the new series. There are a few nice touches, but the clichés are all-too prevalent. Thankfully this flirtation with a Moonlighting approach would be ditched for more traditional Highlander territory, but the damage had been done. C
