| Kudos to Michael Rhoades who manages to go from
seemingly evil to fully rounded in the space of one scene,
confessing to Amanda how after his first death he was forced to
watch his wife marry again, have children and grow old and die
without him. |
Verdict
This is more like it - a "proper" Highlander story with an
interesting three-dimensional protagonist and moral conflict at its
core. We also get to see how Nick's involvement in Amanda's life is
affecting her basic beliefs and core in a way Duncan was never able to
do. A-
