LINE OF FIRE
An ex-girlfriend of Richie's arrives
in town claiming her young son is his. While he ignores Duncan's
reminder that Immortals cannot bear children, the Highlander is
disturbed by the arrival of Kern, an Immortal responsible for killing
his Sioux lover and foster son over a hundred years previously.

Verdict
Oh dear. Kern is little more than a cartoon villain, although the
confession scene at least gives us a little idea about what he was
like and how old he is (a Viking perhaps?). The Richie story is a
waste of time, and the casting of Michelle Thrush as MacLeod's lover
is poorly thought out considering her recent appearance as Sara
Lightfoot. Have I said enough yet?
